With the generous support of the Golden LEAF Foundation, CPLG will launch the Local Government Training Initiative in March of 2021. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) and the UNC School of Government announce the selection of 10 North Carolina local government teams who will work to address the opioid crisis in their communities through an intensive two-year program.

Human Trafficking: Project No Rest
The goal of Project NO REST (North Carolina Organizing and Responding to the Exploitation and Sexual Trafficking of Children) is to increase awareness of human trafficking affecting children and youth age 25 and younger in North Carolina, especially those involved in the child welfare system, to reduce the number of these youth who are trafficked, and to improve outcomes for those who are trafficked.
