This engaging and interactive two-week program builds the skills, competencies, and tools to accelerate your public service leadership. Participants in this program attend as LGFCU Fellows, a select group of committed local government leaders ready to enhance their personal as well as organizational leadership skills and competencies. Participants complete the program with a deeper understanding of their individual leadership strengths, skills for improving their organizations, and a renewed passion for public service. Through the generous support of the LGFCU Fellows attend tuition free.

Local government professionals who lead or seek to lead in their organizations, including managers and assistant managers, department heads and senior staff, assistants and directors, executives, and administrators.
Applications are due by June 18th.
With the generous support of Local Government Federal Credit Union, individuals selected as LGFCU Fellows will receive this program tuition-free. Participants’ organizations pay for hotel and travel expenses to attend the classes held in Chapel Hill.
