Advanced Supervisory Practices
- Chapel Hill, NCJune 24 - 27, 2024
Advanced Supervisory Practices helps public professionals who have on-the-ground supervisory experience take their skills to the next level. Through this course, participants will learn how to effectively energize and engage their teams and exert positive influence with peers, managers, and direct reports. The course builds on topics covered in Fundamental Supervisory Practices such as effective communication, delegation, giving performance feedback, and the True TILT strengths assessment.
The course offers participants the opportunity to assess their emotional intelligence competencies and to learn and apply skills to improve outcomes when coaching employees, managing individual and team performance, and partnering with others to solve problems.
Participants will take the EQ-i 2.0 assessment as part of this course. Participants who did not already take the TILT 365 assessment as part of the Fundamental Supervisory Practices course will need to complete a TILT assessment and TILT video review prior to the first day of class.
